Forbes’ 2022 list says that Rihanna, who is 34 years old, is the youngest self-made billionaire woman in the United States. The portal says that the artist is worth a whopping USD 1.4 billion, which is a lot of money. The singer’s historic achievement comes after makeup mogul Kylie Jenner, whose current net worth is estimated by Forbes to be USD 600 million, made the list in 2019.

The singer of the band Umbrella, who is also a co-owner of Fenty Beauty and has a stake in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line, has become the first billionaire from her home country of Barbados, according to the Forbes list. Rihanna is the only woman under 40 who made the list this year. The singer and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky recently had their first child together.

Before she was officially called a billionaire, Rihanna talked about how she felt in an interview with the New York Times “I never spend my money on myself. Instead, I always spend it to help someone else. The world can really make you think that the wrong things are important, and it can really make you miss what life is all about and what it means to be alive.”

Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, and other well-known women are also on the list of women who have made it on their own. Taylor Swift is worth 570 million dollars. Rihanna’s net worth is likely to go up soon, since she has promised new music is on the way.
