Before the ‘The Voice’ premiere, Gwen Stefani claims that she has already “won” by marrying Blake Shelton.

Fans of The Voice are impatient to see what the competition show will look like with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani competing as coaches once more, so don’t wait any longer!

The “Rich Girl” singer discussed how she and the country star intend to approach the competition as a married couple while speaking to PEOPLE in a group interview with this year’s coaches on The Voice.

The 52-year-old Stefani tells PEOPLE, “I think we have a sweet spot for each other.” “Coming back made me anxious. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I did so because I had no idea what to expect.”
She says more, “because it is distinctive. I married him. That’s insane. Already triumphed. Already triumphed. I’m sure I won’t succeed again.”

This season marks Stefani’s first appearance since 2020 and her first since she and Shelton, 46—whom she met and fell in love with on the show—married in 2021.

The singing competition series celebrated its tenth birthday last year with an episode titled “Road to Lives — 10th Anniversary Edition,” when the show’s judges reflected on earlier seasons.

Shelton, who is renowned for making jokes, shocked his audience when he became emotional while thinking back on one of his “best” experiences: meeting Stefani.

“What has been the best thing that has occurred to you since being on The Voice, people frequently ask me? I mean, that should be obvious. I met my future wife here, “In that moment, he said. “Stefani is challenging to resist. You see, here’s this legendary rock star arriving in a black minivan to serve as a coach on The Voice. To me, that was cool.” In honour of their wedding anniversary in July, the couple posted adorable pictures and videos from the memorable day on social media.

“No Doubt’s singer wrote, “1 year down, forever to go!” and included Shelton in the caption. Shelton responded, “I love you! I’m grateful you agreed!”

Stefani wrote in the comments section, “My ideal man – thank u God!!!”

On September 19, Camilo Cabello, John Legend, Stefani, and Blake Shelton will serve as coaches when The Voice returns to NBC for season 22.
