Elon Musk broke his nine-day Twitter silence on Friday night by posting a picture of him meeting Pope Francis on Thursday. He is attempting to pay $44 billion for Twitter. Musk’s plan to buy Twitter is in its early stages right now.
The person with the most money in the world put a picture of themself on Twitter and wrote, “Honored to meet @pontifex yesterday.” In the picture, the world’s richest person is standing next to the pope.

Musk’s 18-year-old transgender daughter is not in the picture. On June 20, she filed paperwork to change her name and break all ties with her father. Musk’s four teenage sons are, however, in the picture. Musk has eight kids in total.
It wasn’t clear at first what Musk and the pope were going to talk about or where they were going to meet.
Musk said a month ago that there were “still a few things” that needed to be worked out for the deal to buy Twitter. Some of these “unresolved matters” were the amount of spam users on the site and how the debt part of the deal would come together.
