Jennifer Lopez wrote about her wedding to Ben Affleck in her most recent newsletter. She talked about the song they danced to as they walked down the aisle and how their kids took part in the event. In a detailed statement about the three-day party, the singer called their wedding in Georgia perfect and said, “This was bliss.”
In particular, Lopez said about their mixed-race family, “But as I walked down the aisle, the first song he played wasn’t “True Companion.” It was his song “The Things We’ve Handed Down,” which was about how kids are a wonderful mystery that we could only guess about at the time. This song was perfect because our five kids were walking ahead of me.” The singer said that she danced down the aisle to the song “The Things We’ve Handed Down.”
Lopez then said the following about their children: “We made a new family when we married our kids to each other and to these other kids. We just asked them to stand up for us in front of the wedding guests. Each one did, which made us very proud and happy.”
Ben Affleck’s three kids, Samuel, Seraphina, and Violet, as well as Jennifer Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, who she has with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, walked down the aisle with the newlyweds. Lopez talked about how beautiful it was that everything came full circle. Before she got married, Bennifer was often seen hanging out with kids, and the whole family went to Disneyland together.
