The whole world is sad about this attack that killed people in the city of Nara, Japan. In the meantime, people from all over the world, including India, have expressed sadness about the death. In India, a day of mourning has already been set. But do you know for sure who Shinzo Abe was?

Shinzo Abe – personal life

Japan is where Shinzo Abe was born. He was the only prime minister to be born after World War II. He was from a powerful family in Japan’s government. So, he learned about politics from a young age. His father and grandfather were two of Japan’s most well-known politicians. Even his uncle used to sit in Japan’s Prime Minister’s chair. Shinzo Abe went to school in Niosaka, where he finished. Shinzo Abe then went to the U.S. to continue his education. The University of Southern California is where Abe is said to have gotten his degree.

Before he ran for office, Shinzo Abe worked at the Kibe Steel Plant. There, Abe worked for two years. After getting his degree in America, he went back to his home country and got a job in a steel plant. But after two years, the country’s former leader slowly started to get involved in politics. He began to follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle.

Shinzo Abe’s decision to run for office

His father passed away in 1993. Then, for the first time, he went to an election in the country. And this was the first time he ran for office and got a lot of votes. Shinzo Abe started to become more popular.

In 2008, Japan’s Prime Minister was chosen to be Shinzo Abe, who was the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party. Abe became Prime Minister when he was 52 years old. Abe is the youngest Prime Minister who has ever held the job. Not only that, but Abe has been Prime Minister of Japan longer than anyone else.

What Shinzo Abe has done as Prime Minister of Japan

At one point, the Japanese economy took a big hit. But Japan’s economy turned around again when Shinzo Abe was in charge. Not only that, but Abe could have had the courage to talk face-to-face with people from other countries, even North Korea.

Abe, who was 67, was a strong leader. He was the prime minister of Japan for seven years and six months straight.
